Staple Street Capital has connections with Carlyle Group, which is also known for recruiting ex-politicians like George Bush and James Baker, John Major, one-time World Bank treasurer Afsaneh Masheyekhi, and several south-east Asian powerbrokers. The company holds a number of different entities.
